GuyR
A downloadable plugin for Windows
GuyR is a free and open source convolution reverb plugin under the GPL v3 open-source license. It was built using the HISE/JUCE framework.
Only available in VST3 and VST2 64bit unless you compile yourself!
GuyR itself is a pretty standard and simple Convolution reverb plugin - but it comes bundled with 25+ impulse responses from actual video game hardware!, most of which I recorded myself, with contributions from members of my discord community like Moximog and Kang.
Some included reverbs:
- Sega Dreamcast
- Sega Saturn
- Nintendo 3DS
- GameCube
Some included speakers:
- Game Boy Advance
- Game Boy Color
- Nintendo Switch
- CRT TV
- Studio Monitors
These IRs were painstakingly recorded from real video game hardware, and I'm very excited to share them. Oh and it pairs pretty nicely with GuyEngine ;)

Just so you know, you can download the Impulse Responses separately and use the with any convolution reverb!
