GuyEngine 1.0.7 Update (and expansion)
GuyEngine » Devlog
Hazard Guy - an expansion inspired by Resident Evil (the original) on PS1 and N64 etc., is releasing today!
Update 1.0.7
Added a "BONUS DISC" which will contain all of the new free content updates going forward (until it gets too big, then I'll make a separate bonus disc)
As of right now, it contains a selection of instruments from Evil Pig Guy (Tomba) and Hazard Guy (Resident Evil).
This serves two purposes:
1. Makes good on the promise of free content updates
2. Gives GuyEngine users a taste of the expansions so they can get a feel for whether it's something they want or not.

Question about the Hazard Addon and future addons, how do we install them and do we purchase them seperately from the GuyEngine itself?
Good question! The expansions are separate purchases from GuyEngine itself, and they do come with install instructions. Basically you'll just extract the files into the same folder as GuyEngine.
Every time I release an expansion, GuyEngine itself gets an update with a few extra instruments added for free. Those extra instruments are a small selection from the expansion so that you can:
A) Get free additional content
B) Get an idea of the expansion to decide if you want to buy it.
If you only buy GuyEngine and never buy a single expansion, your library of instruments will still grow without having to spend any more money.
Hope that answers your question!
can we make requests for specific sounds? i really would like some timbres similar to the FF7 Electric Piano (it's very particular) and FF7 has some very specific, very metallic percussion timbres too which would fit right in with Silent Guy
anyway, congrats on the plugin, i've been enjoying it quite a lot!
thank you! some FF7 stuff is planned!
